genever is an authentic dutch product. just as the scots have whiskey, the french cognac, the russians vodka and the greeks ouzo, we have genever – also known as ‘dutch gin’. genever threatens to be forgotten while it is a very beautiful, artisanal product. expressed poetically, it’s is a piece of cultural heritage that must be guarded. and verbond genever has embraced this challenge. the result?

the
story
a while ago we discovered the beauty of genever. and we were exited, boy oh boy. the only thing we didn’t understand is why the traditional dutch drink has lost so much popularity. in collaboration with onder de boompjes, the oldest independent distillery in the netherlands, we have developed a handcrafted jenever. with this genever we have a mission; don’t let the genever drinker die out.

- coconut water 45ml
- cointreau 10ml
- lime juice 25ml
- pineapple juice 15ml
- few drops angostura bitters
put everything in a cocktail shaker with some ice. shake it like you’ve never shaken before and pour it into a nice glass. cheers!

we could bore you here with a story about our genever having a high percentage of malt wine. Or that it is uniquely handcrafted by the oldest independent distillery in the netherlands. or that we only use fresh and natural ingredients and the maceration thereof has lasted at least two months. oops, we did it again. sorry for the delay. enjoy verbond genever
